Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday inaugurated Amrutha Hospital in Haryana, built at a cost of Rs. 6000 crore.
About 2,600 beds have been set up in a multi-purpose hospital under Mata Amruthanandamayi Math in Faridabad, Haryana.
This hospital has been built at a cost of Rs.6,000 crore to provide medical facilities to the people of Haryana. Inaugurated today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the hospital boasts of being the largest private hospital in Asia.
The hospital has 81 specialized medical facilities, 64 fully equipped operating theatres, ICU with several advanced facilities and 534 intensive care unit beds.
Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala and others also participated in the inauguration of the hospital. Amrutha Hospital in Kochi, Kerala has been providing medical services for the past 25 years. It is noteworthy that this hospital started in 1998 with 125 bedded facilities and currently treats 8 lakh outpatients and 50 thousand inpatients annually with 1350 bedded facilities.
