Kerala. The upcoming film ‘The Kerala Story’ has come under fire from the ruling Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the opposition Congress in Kerala, with both parties alleging that the movie aimed to create communal divisions in society through false claims.

The film, written and directed by Sudipto Sen, claims that approximately 32,000 women in Kerala have gone missing and were converted to Islam, radicalised and deployed in terror missions in India and the world.

‘The Kerala Story,’ starring Adah Sharma, is set to be released in cinemas on May 5.
