Chennai, Sep 7. In a letter sent to Governor Ravi, Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai has said that the DGP should be ordered to file a case against Minister Udayanidhi for defaming Sanathana. Udayanidhi says he will not take back his opinion on Sanatana.

He explained that he spoke about Sanatana following E.Ve.Ra. E. Ve. Ra. said that certain people of the community should be stabbed to death. Udayanidhi, who follows him, says that the followers of Sanatana should be stabbed to death. People who believe in God are hurt by Udayanidhi’s speech.

An attempt is being made to disturb the peace of Tamil Nadu by the talk of abolition of Sanatana. BJP lodged a police complaint against Udayanidhi.

However, the police did not come forward to file a case as he was the chief minister’s son. Thus, the DGP should be ordered to file a case against Udayanidhi. This is what Annamalai said in that letter.
